The company advises that a vessel has been chartered from a third party which will operate as follows, but only for foot passengers.

Today from Yarmouth: 15.55; 17.55.

Should passengers wish to transfer their sailings to the Portsmouth-Fishbourne route (or alternative sailings on the Lymington Yarmouth route) they are advised to contact Wightlink on 0871 376 1000 to confirm availability and to amend their reservation.
Wightlink would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. Passengers concerned about sailings should call Wightlink reservations on 0871 376 1000.
Red Funnel’s vehicle ferry sailings between East Cowes and Southampton will continue to be disrupted until next Friday (October 16) because one of its ships is being repaired in dry-dock.
The ferry was taken out of service on Wednesday due to a damaged propulsion system.
A revised timetable is now operating and customers who booked on sailings which have been cancelled will be contacted and transferred to alternative sailings.
Foot passengers travelling at affected times can use the Red Jet high speed service at no additional charge.
Full details of the revised timetable are available at www.redfunnel.co.uk
Red Funnel said it wished to apologise to passengers for any inconvenience which has been caused by factors outside the company’s control.
